About me
Hello, Kasee here! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I didn’t think I’d grow up to be a theatre professional, but here we are. This website serves as my digital portfolio, so you can get to know me and my work a bit better. Originally hailing from Hazard, Kentucky, I'm now a bit of a travelling theatre enthusiast, always seeking new experiences and opportunities within this vibrant world. My heart lies in costume design, though I do dabble in scenic design from time to time. I've armed myself with an MFA in Theatre Design, equipping me with the skills and knowledge to bring theatrical visions to life.
Beyond the creative aspects, I also find immense satisfaction in supervising and organizing the often-chaotic world of costume shops and their storage. There's something so rewarding about bringing order to the beautiful chaos of clothing, fabrics, trims, and accessories. And whenever I get the chance, I love to teach and share my passion with aspiring designers/technicians.
One of the most important aspects of my work is a strong commitment to DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). I believe in creating inclusive and representative theatre experiences, both on and off stage, and I actively strive to integrate these values into everything I do.
If you're curious to see where my theatrical journey has taken me, I invite you to explore my CV and resumé. They'll give you a detailed overview of my experience and the various projects I've had the pleasure of being a part of.
Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you enjoy exploring my work and getting to know me a little better. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to connect!
